The painting expresses the human being who exists between "heaven" and "earth". The canvas is a device to "crucify" the painted object from its origins in the Christian church. Based on this conviction, I have been painting on the canvas of Western origin, as if crucifying the body (Japanese self-portrait), which has been re-painted to Western rules and lifestyles since the Meiji era (1868-1912). The artist's own naves, the Japanese people, the ancient culture of the Jomon period, and the history of other countries (Hopi, Ireland, etc.), as well as the similarities and similarities between them, have been unraveled and referenced. Based on these references, I have created a work of art based on my "imagination" (vision).
