“I feel my mission is to create art works from inner silence. On my paintings there are almost always flowers, more often roses.” - Anastassia Skopp I’m Anastassia from Germany and I’m thrilled to share my passion for painting with you and to offer a glimpse into the inspiration and meaning behind my artworks. As a devoted student of Eckhart Tolle, I have found great wisdom and insight in his teachings on mindfulness and spirituality. In my paintings, I aim to convey the beauty and interconnectedness of the natural world, particularly through the symbolism of flowers. Using a technique influenced by abstract expressionism and modern art, I create textured and three-dimensional abstract paintings using a variety of mixed media. I use undiluted acrylic paint, ink, gel medium, and structure paste to build up layers of color and texture, often incorporating transparent paint to enhance the ethereal qualities of nature. My love of flowers is evident in many of my artworks, as I use spatulas, tubes for writing, and fruit knives to create intricate and delicate floral motifs. Through these meditative and expressive techniques, I seek to capture the essence of the natural world and invite viewers to immerse themselves in a colorful and serene world of impasto colors and floral magic. Whether you are a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, I hope that my paintings will bring joy, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the beauty and interconnectedness of the world around us.

Anastassia has been drawn to art since she was a little girl. So much,
one day she decided to try her luck and check out a local art college secretly. A month later her Mom received a bill for the art college and although surprised and certainly concerned about the monthly cost, she supported her wish to attend the art college where Anastassia spent the next 7 years surrounded by the smell of paint and the rhythm of canvasses.
In 1999, Anastassia graduated from the Mordovian State Pedagogical Institute in Saransk with a degree as a Teacher of German and English Languages. During her time at the institute, her love for art continued to grow and she attended art courses there for 2 years. Not long after graduation, she worked at the Mordovian State University in Saransk until she got married in 2002 and moved to Germany. Here in Germany, after a short career pause raising her daughters, she got to her painting brushes again and did not let go of them until today. In 2005, she officially became a freelance artist and successfully presented her paintings online. In that same year, she was contacted by the innovative gallery from Cologne „Canvasa“ in order to sign a contract with her for 4 years.
In 2017, she graduated from the University Duisburg-Essen with a B.A. - Bachelor of Arts Social Work. In addition to creating beautiful paintings, Anastassia feels empowered and fulfilled by helping other people.
During 17 years of her career as an artist, she has created and sold more than 1.5 thousand paintings. Her works of art can be found in private collections around the world from Europe to the USA and Canada.
