My name is Lena. I'm artist, 36 years old. I was born in Odessa district and most part of my life i lived in my favorite city Odessa.
I started drawing not so long ago, in 2016, before, I was engaged in the restaurant business.
At some point, I wanted to relieve stress from work, relax, and throw out my thoughts, emotions, pain onto the canvas.
Ideas for paintings appear on inpulse, sometimes in a dream.
Often I take a brush in my hand, not yet realizing what I will paint, but the images begin to appear on their own, as soon as I touch the paper with a brush.
Therefore, basically most of my works are made in abstract impressionism. Most often portraits, not real people, but their essence, souls.
Today, my country is on fire. Our cities are being bombed with rockets, crowds of Russian soldiers and tanks have come to kill us. Therefore, now my paintings are somehow dedicated to Ukraine, our struggle, our defenders.
With the help of my works, I want to convey to the whole world that Ukraine first of all wants peace, but we are ready to fight for peace and freedom till the last breath
