I never paint what I see, or supposedly see. My paintings are a synthesis of emotions and impressions from music and nature. The abstract image is the main thing that interests me in my work. This is what gives meaning to an abstract painting and makes it interesting to the viewer. It is the image that attracts attention, leads to reflection and conveys the artist's intention. Using the gradual application of layers of paint, I achieve the desired effect, such as depth and atmosphere, accents and perspectives, dominance or subordination of forms.

Most of my works are completely abstract. However, some of my paintings contain recognizable images, sometimes landscapes or human figures are guessed in them. I paint mostly with oil on canvas. In my opinion, oil has the best qualities in terms of colour saturation and brightness. But I also experimented with other materials and surfaces. The result was a series of works on steel sheets and OSB boards.

In my work I use brushes, large palette knife or wide squeegee. The oil paints are often mixing right on the canvas, in an effort to combine colors and shapes, to achieve the ultimate power of expressiveness.
