KAREZMAD is an artist with a backbone in skateboarding, graffiti, and street culture, and has been active in the club music scene, mainly in record jackets, clothing design, and other graphic art. In 2004, he established ROCKWELL PRODUCT SHOP with his partner. (Currently, ROCKWELLPRODUCT SHOP is developing a music label.) He has been in charge of graphic design for clothing brands such as "TRIBE" by NUJABES, "DMN" by DOBERMAN inc. and "AKAONI" since 2009.
In 2007 and 2009, he participated in the exhibition by GRA in Rome, and in 2010 and 2011, he participated in a group exhibition at The Conference Room Gallery in LA, USA.
During the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, I helped one of the artists to organize an exhibition related to the disaster, which changed my mindset about my previous work.
From 2016-2018, he had solo exhibitions in New York, Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Currently he is working on the theme of the world of Instagram and social networking. He contacts fashionistas and Instagrammers around the world and creates works on their themes. Recently, he has been working with augmented reality (AR) and plans to collaborate with famous artists and clothing brands using AR in 2021 for collaborative works and exhibition projects.
