Most of all, as an artist, I am inspired by my own life experience and new impressions. I believe that the life of an artist should be interesting. An artist is not just a person who can document events and emotions with paint and a brush, an artist is a researcher of the world, he must learn its facets and corners, because an artist creates landmarks for many people, his look cannot be ordinary. Since childhood, I have known this world through creativity, as a child, I preferred to spend time playing with my peers in my father’s editorial office, where I painted with artists, and my toys were dolls drawn by me. I absorbed the stories of journalists, writers, critics, but unlike them, I decided to express myself through a visual language, my paintings speak without words. I was born in Russia, but lived for a long time in Bulgaria, now I live in Turkey, I have absorbed the culture of three countries, in addition to that I have traveled a lot to find out how people live in other places and what they dream about. I think that trips and travels provide the most abundant food for the artist's creativity.
Life is not always a white streak, sometimes there are difficult moments, but in my paintings I reflect only light. My task is to make a person, looking at my paintings at any period of his life, feel peace, warmth, love, joy, and from this become a little happier.
Every day of my life I try something new, this is my creed, I can't spend the day at home on the couch, so I am always filled with energy and it allows me to create and be inspired. Sometimes the energy overflows me so much that I completely disconnect from the picture and the subconscious mind itself chooses the right shade, and the brush itself leads my hand, as if the picture paints itself. As a result, I get extraordinary pictures, critics say that they are musical. Just looking at the picture, you can feel a certain melody in your head.
I create artworks of medium and large format so that the viewer can immerse themselves in them. I rarely use small formats, but sometimes you can get an interesting result on them. The main medium is oil paints, they allow the artist to bring absolutely any ideas to life, while being very picturesque and dynamic. Sometimes I also use acrylic to add dimension to the painting, and other times I use gilding to add some extra glow and enhance the energy of the painting.
