I am an "introvert" artist. Although my paintings are realistic, they are reflections of my inner experiences.
If I paint a landscape, I do it outdoors only, in front of the subject. I like the feeling of merging with the city or a piece of nature and I сonfess my love for it with my artwork. I want to show this place how beautiful it is, how it impressed me.
Likewise, I fall in love with the people I paint. I portray them in moments of their greatest attraction: when they are happy, excited, full of tenderness or passion. I strive to paint a person recognizably, but I don't chase external features, but I catch the reflection of emotions on the face.
People say that my paintings are rich in light and color. It's true I am passionate about color. It, like nothing else, can convey a certain mood, emotion, sensation.
I paint with watercolors. It is awesome stuff, and it is a co-creator. Watercolor paint flows and forms its streaks, patterns, drops. The artist can only let go of control and follow this divine will, to give it the chance to become the second author of the artwork.
It is easy to create an understatement with watercolors. And then the viewer becomes another co-author. Me and the viewer and the streaks of watercolors - we are aware of the artistic image of the artwork together.
I would like, my artworks to inspire people, fill them with a sense of inner harmony and happiness. And if my painting makes your life brighter and more joyful for a few minutes, I will consider that I am not creating it in vain.
