Concept

Vivid colors is what characterize my work. I like paint on different surfaces, usually on animal sculptures. Also I like using various materials . For me painting and sculpturing is the way to show an imaginary world. My main perpose is to make my audience happy when they see my art.

Biography

DESPOINA PAPANDREOU GREECE..
I studied Ceramic and Pottery from 1994 to 1997 to Public art school of OAED of Thessaloniki and at the
same time I took private lessons of free drawing and painting next to a painter. This was the trigger to
open a window for me and start wondering to the art world.
After my graduation of the Ceramic and Pottery school I worked for a year next to a famous ceramist of
Greece. Then I started my own ceramic workshop which I had on for 3 years.
On 2000 I had to take on the family business and I became a Travel agent.
For some years I had to take a break from ceramics and painting, but
my main job as a travel agent helped me see many places around the world and be inspired.
I paint with my imagination. I love painting on strange and different objects, sometimes even funny
one's. What characterize my work is definitely the vivid colors.
I enjoy also making sculptures, using new materials and techniques.
I want my art to give joy to those who see them.
I hope you like my work and enjoy it.
