Concept

My work is optimistic and biographical. It’s a love letter to the world, and truly a work of Heart. I draw inspiration from all those that come before me. I am always reminded that there’s an infinite amount of love and guidance available at all times. And my intention with my work is to anchor that reminder. There’s a line in Maya Angelou’s poem to our Grandmothers that reads: “ I come as one, but I stand as 10,000.” And those words have become a talisman.

I was born in De-Aar , grew up in Taung( Magogong) and spent my teenage years in Mafikeng. In 2006 I moved to Johannesburg where I currently live and work.
