Favorites Pieces of Work:
My favorite pieces of acrylic paintings involve land or animals of Alberta, Canada.
Pieces closest to my heart include bears, wolves, wild horses, or landscapes. I find them so beautiful and fun to paint and hopefully they may eventually bring awareness to some form of conservation/preservation of the land / animals that occupy Alberta.

Hello,

I am Karen Neufeld, an acrylic artist from Calgary, Canada. Sources that creatively influence me are in short proximity to my home , rural Alberta itself. From the Prairie skies to the mountains, from the foothills to the rivers and the animals that inhabit the land themselves. Through photography, sketching, and geocaching, it immerses me in the elements to often collect references to paint...or sometimes painting right on the spot!
