Concept

Spending the last six years exploring Asia, I had the privilege of experiencing the rich cultures and traditions first hand. The strong lines of Japanese paintings, textures and forms of ancient Cambodian architecture, the detailed patterns lining Chinese temples and the wood carving and fabric patterns of Thailand. My lino prints draw inspiration from the involvements and practices I came across as I traveled country to country. Using the technique of lino cutting and printing, encapsulates the bold and graphic styles I experienced. My prints are a melting pot of ideas and influences all represented in my own style.
