Fuji, on Thursday, July 25, 2019, for a two-day and one-night press trip to Lake Kawaguchi to sketch Mt. Unfortunately, on the first day, it was hidden by clouds and could not be seen. Luckily, at 6:00 a.m. the next morning, its majestic appearance appeared. I was so impressed by the majestic Fuji that I sketched it without any hesitation! Since then, I have been fascinated by Fuji.

This work was inspired by an owl the artist saw as a child in his hometown of Hokkaido.

Sewappi is a dwarf god in the folklore of the northern tribes who is said to "make wishes come true. Sewappi is a dwarf god who is said to "grant wishes. Sewa" means "Almighty God" in the language of the Wirta, a northern tribe. One of Ichiro Takezawa's representative works, it is in the collection of "Numazu Shoji Museum of Art" in Shizuoka Prefecture in 2021. In 2022, it is one of 18 works in the collection of the Municipal Art Museum in Monbetsu, Hokkaido, the birthplace of the artist.

These are vigorous drawings of images that come to mind in crayon, acrylic, and other mediums. The word "draw" means "to draw a line," and is generally translated as "line drawing. In the world of contemporary art, a drawing is considered an independent artistic expression in itself, and works overflowing with the artist's intuitive sensibility have a different appeal from finished tableaus.
