I was born in Bogota, in 1991, and lived all my life in the geographical plateau that comprehend that city and neighboring towns. All my childhood was affected by the scaling of the war in Colombia, and that made me grow fond on the arts: it was the power in images, in the artist's willpower, that I searched for an art. Though I had close relationship with painting (because my grandmother was also a plastic artist), it wasn't but until I had to decide my career that I chose for this path (before, I had more activity in the musical and theatrics environment, but it didn't felt comfortable enough for me).
After lots of efforts in the Department of Arts at Universidad de los Andes, after 7 years, I graduated as a Plastic Artist with academical option on Astronomy (even so more than just fine arts studies, I went for a humane faculty as an artist, and was elected representative in the Students Assembly: that propelled me into many circles of student life).
I have developed an interest amidst my style, like some artists develop, towards a little and long forgotten sanctuary. Mine has the name for La Peña, which once was important to all Colombia. The service with my art there also expects from my intentions on the avant garde, and the head priests -as the seminarians, are delighted with my projects for the temple. I have already been admitted to enter a Doctorate Studies in Image Practices, Hochschüle Luzern, Switzerland.
I won a bench for the 16 Regional Artist Hall, part of the National Artist Hall programe, lead by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Colombia. As well, I gave a professional visit to the Turism Hall of my country in order to rearrange the experience of artisans, artists and artistry.
I work all of the different genres in painting as matters of fact: I am pursuing the expansion of plastic expression, when now not only the representative but the animated and virtual have developed so much that they defy also the classical comprehension of history. In this sense, I mean a literature through my artwork: when old, looking back to my artwork and observing a scripture of our times.
