Marco Stocco, an Italian artist born in Italy, March 24, 1970, living between Italy and Brasil (Bahia). Marco became enthusiast about drawing from an early age. Attracted by figurative art, he began his first paintings. Anyway, painting is not the only passion, he also loves to model and express himself using various kinds of material such as: metal laminate for creating practical objects and small sculptures in stone.
In 2009 he creates Orfeo a contemplative and imaginary character channeling fragments and sensation perceived in certain moments of his own artistic progress.

Orfeo represents the soul of a character
imaginary, contemplative, transcdendent,
optimistic and with a certain vital energy.
The wine of Orfeo represents blood and the
ancient origins of human history.
Orfeo is the feeling of my (our) state/mood
to be in vibration with your own intuition.
He has no face because the soul does not mask itself.
He has no mouth to speak, but he can communicate.
He has no ears to hear, but he can hear.
He has no eyes to see, but he grants us
the vision of the invisible.
And wondering if the eyes represent his
mirror of the soul, I reply:
Orfeo is a soul without mirrors.
A soul in harmony with the eyes that observe him.

Whith Orfeo he begins to create a collection of artworks "Orfeo artistic tastings" where will fix moments and fragments of personal vibrations in a sort of logbook.
