Concept

My passion for art has always existed, my vision of art is simple. I like to capture what surrounds me through the eye and pass it through the filter of emotion, and through pictorial matter, capture it in a material way, taking into account that it is a painting, whether it is material or digital and not another type of technique (photography). I like to convey calm human situations, so that the viewer can experience peace and a pause in time. I am a lover of manual work, of matter to transmit a higher energy.

Biography

Pep Encinas Sarrias.

Born in Barcelona, Spain. 1962

I always remember in contact with drawing and painting, since my childhood.

My studies begin with technical drawing which helps me understand space. Then I study illustration and later I study Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona.

Later I began to work in scenography construction workshops as a painter and currently I combine my personal work with the work of a props painter in the theater field.

I have made some exhibitions, especially collective ones, and I have sold work mainly online, in several cities of Spain, Europe and Israel.

I like the personal treatment with the buyer, knowing what type of work he likes, and contacting collectors as well as individuals.
