Concept

In these objects I create a space of certainty and control. They are beautiful objects to lift spirits. There is a question of what belongs where. The birds are mute messengers of change, searching the composition for their place. The flowering botanicals are in full bloom and abundant in this moment in time. The glass domes that encase a living element suggest admiration, slow demise and silence. My work is executed in oil paint on canvas.
