I was born on August 3, 1952 to Zygmunt and Louise Soszynski. It was at 5961 Maple St. in Yonkers New York when my family became aware their five year old son was a budding artist. All of my teachers fostered my art and gave me room to grow and my high school teacher got me a full scholarship to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. It was the 1960s and I became well-versed in the Drugs of the time and took many LSD trips. But my journey of passion and integrity and tenacity was not only to survive but to thrive as an artist. By six years old I knew I wanted to be an artist. My life has been marked by great joy and grant tragedies, incredible accomplishments and equally large disappointments. From my humble beginnings on the streets of Yonkers, to Woodstock, to the bright lights of New York City, to the boardwalk at Venice Beach in California I never wavered and held fast to my goal of becoming a great artist. Selling my work on the boardwalk at Venice Beach has kept. me in touch with the true fabric of the human experience. I have sold tens of thousands of pieces of art on the boardwalk. I can think of nowhere else where I would have the kind of exposure worldwide that I have had. Metamorphosis would best described my artistic journey I’ve never stop exploring new ways to express my self .Through my experience I have learned to combine my art and my spiritual exploration they become one of the same.
