The word “Mandala” origin from Sanskrit and has a long history. Mandala representing Center, Circle, or Gathering Worship. For more than hundred years, mandala has often been used in art therapy. The “aggregation” effect formed by the patterns and lines will show one’s invisible and abstract subconsciousness, allowing people to understand better into the depths of their souls, thereby enhancing self-awareness and self-solving power, and enhancing the values of one’s life.

Mandala creates its own “sacred space”, “shelter” and “center point”. In the process of transforming spiritual energy into symbols in this “sacred space”, the subconscious mind could communicate directly with mandala without requiring any carrier or medium, neither language nor words. Mandala is often been created under a selfless stage. Mandala is known as helps in curing anxiety and recalling happiness. Mandala has the ability to regenerate and heal the inner mental state. It also brings a pleasant feeling when it integrates all levels of psychology and allows inner wisdom to be brought into the real world in its specific ways (Lines, Shapes and Colors).
