Concept

Nika started painting quite late, at age 23. From a young age, the girl suffers from bipolar disorder and began painting as part of art therapy treatment. Over time, the hobby turned into a daily creative activity. In her works, Nika tries to convey the inconstancy and riot of the inner state of people with mental disorders. She likes to play with color and texture, and each work is a bright cry from the heart, caused by this or that mental state. The main direction in which the artist works is abstract expressionism.

Biography

Nika was born in 1995 in Moscow. In 2016, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in the direction "Semiotics and General Theory of Art". Lives and works in Moscow.
During her studies at the university Nika worked as a model at the international level. Since 2018 devoted herself to painting.

In 2021 she took part in the "VOGUE 2" exhibition at the Boomer Gallery, London.
Since 2021, she has been collaborating with Russian interior designers.
