Concept

Hi! With my work I have had the opportunity to explore different facets: the grotesque in Goya, the impressionist in Monet, the cubist in Picasso and the erotic in Klimt. All this journey has led me to Japanese art, to the freedom of sumi-e, or the irreverence of Tadaoto Kainosho. From this perspective, my work is a constant search for questions. For that reason I use different tools: canvas, paper, oil, indian ink, charcoal or pastel… through techniques such as painting, washes, pointillism; and most cases mixed techniques. In that way my favorite medium is paper. My latest works deal with the relationship between opposites: the self and the other, the human being and nature, consciousness and mysticism, the analytical and the symbolic ... a whole series of figures that in their apparent contradiction shows balance and harmony. With these works I try to find the micro in the macro, and more than my place... our place as a society in the world.

Biography

I was born on April 2, 1994 in Acarigua Estado Portuguesa - Venezuela, where I currently reside. I am a draftsman, painter, graphic designer and drawing teacher in my own art workshop. When I was 10 years old, I started taking drawing classes with my teacher, the plastic artist José Serrada. As time went by and after graduating as a graphic designer, I decided to dedicate myself fully to the arts.
