Irina Vladau is a visual artist based in Milan, Italy. Born in a Transylvanian city from Romania, where she grew up and studied, Irina's artistic interest began at a very early age being encouraged by her family. As a child she studied in the art school of the city, followed then by a degree in textile design at the University of Art and Design from Cluj-Napoca.
After years working for different companies, Irina felt a longing to return to her old passion, and in 2019 she decided to follow the path of painting.
Her art is inspired mostly by nature, music and mood with joy or melancholy, dreams and reality, all are fusing into one emotion. Irina's late works deals with deconstructing ideas and recomposing them in a subtle way, influencing the emotional response of viewers.
The artist likes experimenting with different painting techniques developing her own artistic style that represents better herself, finding in abstract painting more ways of expressing the imaginary space and interpretation of reality. The artist constantly plays with textures and colors, transforming and mixing them, in order to give a new shape, in a new abstract expressionism concept.
