Concept

"I paint, therefore I am" Combining content with colour and form in a thematically surprising and gladly witty way, that is the aim of my figurative, sometimes surreal painting. I like to fabulate. A few years ago, I started painting as a part-time and self-taught artist. In the meantime, it has become a central element in my life, accompanied by attending various artistic courses of study and exhibitions, My creative theme is preferably fauna - the animal world, a term that consciously includes the human animal. Questions about the sense and nonsense of being and being are targeted with sometimes more, sometimes less humour and seriousness.
