Hi. My name’s Fatima Ahmad and I currently reside in Lahore. Art has always been a hobby to me since my childhood and I have always believed it to be subjective. Everyone can have different taste in art and this signifies importance of mixed culture and mixed media. My paintings usually depict art as an aesthetic preference, mostly featuring still life florals and nature or vases. I have just recently started selling my paintings during the pandemic, hence I’m selling online. I have had a few exhibitions with online galleries mostly. My main goal is to establish a successful way to provide my paintings physically abroad without any shipping issues and let my paintings be available worldwide for anyone that appreciates art for the sake of art. I might hold physical exhibitions in the country once the lockdown situation gets better in future. My favourite floral painter is Rachel Ruysch. The concept of vanitas in still life paintings is my favourite topic in fine arts.
