Concept

"I use acrylics, colored pencils, watercolors, etc. and draw everywhere. I like to express the beauty of the moment when I feel that people are part of the natural world. Since I was a child, I was not good at talking, so I always used drawing as a communication tool. Now I feel free to draw, but I also ask myself why I want to be free and why I am not free now. To those who are suffering from the same problems while asking themselves I'm looking for ways to help. I am currently designing goods for the company. Little by little I have realized that we can communicate through art as well. I hope to continue to draw for the happiness of everyone."

Yumi Sakai, 32, self-taught.
I use colored pencils and watercolors on drawing paper, and acrylic paints on canvas.
Since I was not good at speaking since I was a child, I have always spent my time drawing pictures, which helped me a lot.
