Born the daughter of Inge and Robert Kolondam, a Munich native and an Indonesian, I grew up in Munich. I live and work with my husband Klaus Soppe - who is also a freelance painter - just outside the beautiful city of Landshut, the home of my grandmother and her siblings.
In terms of painting, I have come a long way. Starting at a young age, I was self-taught for many years. In my early 30s, I wanted to know exactly what I was doing. I decided to follow my heart and added a degree in painting on top. I gave up my job at the time for it. Even during my studies, I was able to take part in several exhibitions at home and abroad and also take on public commissions.

After a few years of experimenting with style, form and color, as well as presenting my paintings at galleries and trade fairs, I returned to the themes that have always inspired me.
In concrete terms, this means for my painting: impressionistic, realistic, childlike, humorous, everyday, ordinary and direct in the sale of paintings. I like the contact with my fellow human beings and I also like to be in contact with my customers myself, which is why you can now meet me again at trade fairs and artisan markets.
