Concept

I am an artist based out of Mumbai & Coonoor, India. I’ve done my Textile Designing from Sophia’s Polytechnic, Mumbai. Having worked for many years in the corporate world, have started pursuing my passion for art in 2019. What inspires & intrigues me? Passion, intuition, emotions and everything around me. In fact, the entire cosmos- all that ever is, ever was & ever will be! Every waking moment of this reality I experience with my limited senses is art for me. I love to work on different surfaces such as Canvas, Paper, Wood & Silk with mixed media such as Acrylics, Inks, Pastels and Dyes. The natural flow of colors on different surfaces & the resulting interplay of hues with light & shadows is important in my work. I prefer working with muted tones with an occasional splash of bright hues.I love the intersection of shapes & colour when layers overlap creating space & depth. With regards to my foray into the world of art, I’m more interested in the journey than the destination.
