Born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and raised in Brussels, Belgium, since her teens, Julia Tulub has a passion for arts, science and the world. Initially self-taught, she refined her knowledge of oil painting and drawing at an artist’s private studio. After years of experimenting, she settled on the simplicity of graphite pencils and the versatility of oil paintings, while regularly trying other mediums for fun. Her favourite subjects are women, nature and wildlife. She currently juggles her artistic endeavours with a career in finance, two small kids, a husband and an over-energetic granma.
