I understand painting and art as an extension of our reality, as a way of approaching or making visible those components that are so common in our daily lives but that at the end of the day remain isolated in an inconspicuous corner or completely invisible. I am interested in my work being impregnated with daily life and its reality, avoiding any pretension or idealization of it, showing it in a real way. With painting I try to explore and represent boredom, apathy, fatigue, despair, indifference, the consequences of violence in our societies and the effects caused by its normalization, the mental wear and tear that women suffer people who live in risk areas facing the daily violent deaths and the hostility of their surroundings, investigate the different relationships between people and family structures, abuse, love and contradictions inside and outside homes, delving into the false conscience and dehumanization of the person through work, how to be an individual capable of thinking for himself slowly is stripped of his human sensitivity being reduced to a thing, to an automaton object without thought of its own incapable of thinking outside the work cage oblivious to the world in which he lives, possessed with the idea of working to improve his living conditions, when the tangible reality is that after After long working hours, he no longer has enough energy, time or money for leisure, enjoying his life or his family, without any possibility of self-realization.
