Hidehisa likes to collect the images of something that he has never seen before. When he starts to wonder what it is, his imagination expands. But what kind of image is something that he has never seen before?
In his definition, it is the combination of things that he's seen before and the current situation happening at the very moment. What is important is that such an image has been 'photographed' against the intention of the photographer.
The reason why he has such a motif is that there is never a way to get to the 'right answer'. Identifying 'right interpretation' is almost as impossible as well. Hidehisa imaging the overall image from a single piece and paints them. This is not the 'correct' thing but the imagination that leaps gives him the energy to paint his work.
