Kiho Ujie mainly draws Japanese landscapes in his artwork. Although it uses natural objects such as mountains, rocks, and plants as his art motif, it aims to express the invisible atmosphere of natural objects in the painting space.
As he draws casual landscapes into his artwork, he values what he has observed and discovered during the creation process, such as the air feeling of the place, the flow of time, and the detailed changes in the colors of the places.
The material used is acrylic paint and the reason for using acrylic is because the uniqueness of matte texture and the process of oozing on the canvas are suitable for expressing the simple scenery.
He hopes he can show new sceneries that will bring memories to the viewers through the pictures.
