Ryosuke Hayashi was born in 1986 and started activities as an actor from 2005. While acting in films and theatres, he started to make paintings by himself based on the memory of his painting class where he used to attend when he was a child. He creates works about anxiety and disturbing things that he feels every day, using watercolor techniques that he often drew in childhood. He was influenced by novels and plays. Therefore, he aims to create works where a story is born in the viewer due to the relevance of the title and the components of the paintings and also where space is felt even though paintings are flat. His ideal work is something that speaks of color. Furthermore, he also creates picture books and animations as well as paintings.
