Atsushigraph captures and collages all kinds of materials, from hand-drawn drawings to photographs and 3DCG, to explore a freer range of graphics that break down the boundaries between digital and analog, real and unreal, and treats them all equally. The artist explores a borderless visual art form. The inspiration for such paintings often comes from a sense of impermanence toward the environment, land, and universe in which one lives, as well as empathy and acceptance of loneliness. It has been an important process for Atsushigraph, who suffered from schizophrenia at the age of 17, to heal the straggle with others that he had experienced for so long and to learn not to suffer from loneliness. It is also a document that reaffirms what is precious, as one of the people living on the street, sensitively aware of the atmosphere of a society that continues to be divided and discordant.

Series

“Living Things”

This is a graphic series that captures and depicts images of the strength and kindness of living things and their interactions with each other. Focusing on the "peace" and "loneliness" of the many and varied forms of life, the series attempts to trace the impermanence of this world. The series is also characterized by its attempt to express organic motifs using digital technology.
