Concept

Exploring my own identity has been the most relevant theme throughout my entire life. Through my artistic practice, I delve into deepening my understanding of my personality, searching for balance, and finding a new place in a changing world. In order to infuse balance into my paintings, I take inspiration from observing nature, landscapes, combinations of textures, colors, and materials. Aerial perspectives also influence my work. I use a range of tools including sponges, rulers, baking utensils, construction brushes, and various brushes, not limiting myself to just brushes and palette knives. My chosen medium is acrylic. Acrylic is, to me, a living entity, a material that is easy and fascinating to interact with. In addition to acrylic, I employ foil and an array of materials to craft textures. I make my arts on canvas.

Biography

Anna Beresneva (1989) is a Ukrainian artist.
From 2022 she is living in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Was studying as a graphic designer and worked as a UI/UX designer.

In 2020 realised that art could express what she wanted to say to the world much better and began to brainstorm ideas, experiment and observe the process.

In her works she refers to the research of her own personality, emotions, her sexuality, the needs of her soul, reflection on the refugee experience as well.

She wants to bring to her paintings peace and balance, which are often lacking in our lifes,
so her works often resemble natural landscapes.

In her works uses mixed media, acrylic,
texture paste, potal.
