BIO
Ruiz Bry is an internationally renowned artist who specializes in large format collage. His work is very meticulous to the point of cutting and gluing more than 25,000 pieces of paper in a single artwork.
He takes recycled magazines, selecting and cutting thousands of pieces and quotes by hand, and transforms them into stunning portraits of extraordinary people. His work is inspired by individuals who stand out and excel in society, especially in sports and popular culture.
Ruiz Bry works and lives between Argentina, United States, and Spain. He is self-taught but was guided by great contemporary artists who helped him forge his unique style.
Among the awards he has received are First Prize at the International Exhibition of Aubenas D'Art Contemporain, France; La Monnai de Paris, Grass, France; Second Prize at Salon de La Rochelle; First Prize Salon D'Art Moderne de la Forestiere; Le Taillan, France; Special Merit Category Light Space Time, USA.
Recently Ruiz Bry’s work has been exhibited at AD Montecarlo, Monaco; Art Basel Miami; Delray Beach T.C., Viridian Artist New York, Sarasota Art Center, Paks Gallery in Munich and Vienna and Art Fort Lauderdale.
