From an early age i loved drawing, painting and reading. I grew up in Amsterdam. My parents were very fond of art. We were regularly taken to the museums. The nice thing is that looking at art still inspires me a lot. We have a house in the woods and being outdoors also gives me a lot of inspiration. Especially the light through the transparent delicate leaves of trees and petals fascinates me. I often draw flowers and leaves. For a few years I worked in a graphic studio in the center of Amsterdam. Nowadays I work in my own studio where I make graphic work. I paint and draw by hand and on the computer.
