Iván M.I.E.D.H.O, (January 28, 1984, Madrid, Spain), visual artist graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. His work focuses on painting, photography and video art.
Iván M.I.E.D.D.H.O., is considered one of the outstanding artists of the Spanish underground scene. His image and his pictorial work are complemented by a reflection on advertising and the digital age. Iván M.I.E.D.D.H.O. works and has collaborated with personalities from the cultural and show business world, such as José Carlos Somoza, Megan Maxwell, Amarna Miller or the famous London group Queen Adreena. National and international critics support the artist's work and media such as "El País", "El Mundo", "La Razón" or "La Cope" have published his work in their pages.
Since his youth he has had a prolific activity winning several awards in drawing, illustration and video contests. He has made multiple group and solo exhibitions and his works have been exhibited in various institutions and museums, among which are: The Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, Contemporary Art Center Matadero de Madrid, Ateneo de Madrid, Joaquín Leguina Regional Library, Prince of Asturias Center in Madrid or the UCM.
During the year 2020 he makes incursion into the field of design with the series of paintings Abstracción Tecnológica, which become part of the brand image of the company TooQ Technology. In addition, in collaboration with the cultural center Casa de Cantabria, they organize an exhibition that unites art and technology, and that will see the light between 2020 and 2021. In parallel, they are collaborating with the romantic and erotic novel writer Megan Maxwell, the journalist José María Plaza, the writer José Carlos Somoza and the dancer Inmaculada Salomón, for the art series Reflecting Gods.
