Gomi Akira: Photographer, Photo Editor, Executive Director of ShINC.MAGZINE 1953 - Born in Kanda, Tokyo, Japan. 1977 - Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Photography, and went to France to study under photographers Lawrence Sackmann and Michel Belton. 1983 - After returning to Japan, worked mainly for the fashion magazines "Ryuko Tsushin" and "Elle Japon". 1989 - Launched the photography magazine Sh・I・N・C. 1992 - Cooperates in the development of a digital camera [DSC3] developed by KODAK as a tester. 1993 - Published a photo book "YELLOWS 2.0". Japan's first CD-ROM photo book "YELLOWS" is published. Seven titles in the YELLOWS series are published by 2000, including AMERICANS, YELLOWS 3.0, and YELLOWS RESTART. 1997 - "August Sander and Akira Gomi" exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. 2000 - Exhibited in the "Photography in the 20th Century" nude section at Kunstmuseum Elise, Switzerland. 2011 - Published the first issue of ShINC. 2020 - Launch of ShINC. MAGZINE-D, an e-book photography magazine. 2023 - AI image works "Collection Variator 1.0" and "Tattooed Pregnant Women". Collection: Musee de l'Élysée : "YELLOWS 2.0" Bibliothèque Nationale de France : YELLOWS CD-ROM series.
