ANYO HIROTA, Sumi-e Artist of the Universe Born on March 26, 1981 in Osaka. Currently resides on Ishigaki Island. After working for many years in a family-run takoyaki restaurant, he became a cultural bridge through cooking, winning the Bib Gourmand Award from the Michelin Guide. After overcoming an illness, she moved on to sumi-e (ink painting) and discovered the joy of expressing her inner feelings through the delicate balance of sumi ink and paper. The company has been donating a portion of its sales since 2021. I myself have often participated in beach cleanup activities. We will continue to expand this activity to the entire Yaeyama Islands so that the ripple effect will reach all over the world.
