Yoshio Suzuki is a bonsai artist who breathes new life into dead bonsai. He is also the creative director of TOUFU TOKYO. He was born on December 17, 1978, in the year of the horse, type AB. Born in Nishi-Kasai, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. He will be active from December 2021. Although he is a bonsai artist, he does not grow live bonsai trees. He has been producing "RE BONSAI™️", which is an upcycled bonsai with colorful new branches and leaves as an art form, by drying up bonsai that are no longer alive or have withered and are destined to be discarded. He loves fashion and is sensitive to trends, and has been going to Shibuya since he was in junior high school. He likes to do active things such as SK8, surfing, and snowboarding, and one of his many hobbies is "bonsai". He tried to decorate his house with bonsai for a chic interior, but it soon died because he had to grow it outside and water it every day. Succulent plants such as cacti and even rather simple houseplants wither if they are not watered. Can't we overcome these problems and enjoy plants as pure interior decoration? Can't we display real plants, bonsai, indoors instead of artificial flowers? This is the idea that inspired me to start RE BONSAI. TOUFU TOKYO, which handles RE BONSAI™️, was quickly launched in a short period of time, and its works can be seen from the streets of Shibuya to the high-end department stores Isetan Men's Building and Disney Store.
