Debbies Grahl was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1985. She is an accomplished award winner visual artist with a background in graffiti and 2D animation. On her works, she often depicts a whimsical, nostalgic and magical world populated by cute and dreamy creatures. Debbies works predominantly in the medium of acrylic painting and watercolours, but includes mural art on her large scale artworks. Her major influences come from graffiti, Japanese pop culture, cartoon animation, vintage toys and lowbrow art.

She graduated a 2D animator in 2006 and worked the following next 5 years in the industry. Her artwork was recently showcased at MF Gallery in New York, Nucleus Gallery in Portland US and WOWXWOW UK based online gallery. She has worked with recognizable brands such as Converse, Etnies, Kraft Foods and Ferrero.

In 2012, Debbies moved to Sydney Australia, where she had the chance of engaging in exhibitions and art competitions and is where she currently lives and works, with her husband and two kids.
