Concept

I am an artist who works the female human figure as a thread of a message. A message of empowerment, of freedom, of sensitivity, of life. I am an artist who chooses the female figure and makes it revolutionary, undresses it, contorts it, gives it personality. My inspiration comes from what I see and hear as a Latin American woman, from what I was taught, from the history I investigate. I like to rethink the history of Native Americans, their customs and deities, and transmute them into a current reality, without losing the essence. My favorite materials are watercolors, natural pigments of my own elaboration, as well as graphite and acrylic. I also like to merge traditional material with digital software editions.

Biography

As a child I traveled a lot and lived in many towns in Argentina, so I never felt part of any place. I took refuge in books and fantasy, and later in drawing, inventing my own fantasy characters. When I turned eighteen the covid-19 pandemic hit and my production took a turn. I virtually started the university of fine arts in Buenos Aires, and I began to understand different cultural concepts that began to shape my current work. I become involved in feminist militancy, I begin to study tarot and herbalism, and I nourish myself with the original knowledge of my land. Finally, the career ends, and I go back to face-to-face education. I broaden my techniques thanks to the university, I investigate the use of inks, oil, the different types of gouaches and the production of 3d sculpture.
Currently I say that I am in a state of research, where my main goal is to capture a little of the reality that I constantly inhabit. I am an artist in creation.
