Tamara Shyrai was born in Ukraine. In 2003, she received a master's degree from the Lviv Academy of Arts and acquired the profession of an artist of fine and decorative arts, specializing in artistic ceramics. After graduating from the academy, she became interested in combining materials and created her own technique of combining leather, ceramics and wood. She created author's collections of wall panels.
Tamara has always been passionate about creativity and painted in watercolor, created graphic works. And gradually came to oil painting. In oil painting, she manages to stop the moment and realize the maximum creativity, aspirations and imagination.
Since 2015, Tamara Shirai has been teaching at the College of Painting and Drawing, until she came to Greece in 20018.
Since 2018, Tamara has been living and actively working creatively in her workshop. She was so impressed by the nature of the island of Crete that numerous sketches of the landscapes of Crete from nature appeared in her collection. A personal exhibition was held at the Archaeological Museum. At the moment, Tamara works in several areas of painting: abstract painting and a more classical direction with elements of expressionism.
