He has 14,000 hours of flight time as a JAL 747 flight crew member and flight engineer. Served as route instructor, technical instructor in the flight crew training department, chief of the 747 flight crew department, and investigator for the head office's comprehensive safety promotion office. He was transferred to Japan Asia Airways and JAL Ways. Retired early in 2009 when the 747 was retired. In 1996, he won the Teppei Sasakura Award at the Proba Grand Prize Exhibition and began working to become a professional artist. In 2004, he was featured in Geijutsu Shincho (Shinchosha) as the man who turned the cockpit into a canvas. In 2005, his first exhibition was held at Isetan Shinjuku and Matsudo Exhibition Gallery. 2005: Osaka Mainichi Broadcasting System, news program, broadcasted as Osaka version of "Mini-Jounetsu Tairiku" (Continent of Passion). 2007: Introduced as a flying artist in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper. 2007: Held the exhibition "Romantic Flight" at Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku Main Gallery.
