I am an artist inspired by the human body. The main direction of my work is to express human emotions in a style which I consider a contemporary realism. Finding the aesthetics of the figures is the main scope in my human representation, to enjoy the taste of art in my process. I consider myself to be a man of few words, I prefer to express the emotions that are above our language.

My little sculptures I work them with wax loosing bronze casting. The first step is to model the figure in clay to finally cast it in bronze.

My name is Ferenc Monostori, I was born in Budapest-Hungary on 5 February 1978. At a very early age I started to develop the skill of manual work, especially carving and drawing. After High school I went to a Fine Arts School of the Stone carving Degree.

After finishing my training, I moved to Portugal where I started stone carving with other artists. It was an incredible experience as it allowed me to travel all over the world from China to South America and all over Europe. In those years I was also able to experiment with sculpting the human body, as anatomy has always interested me.

The direction of my work is to be able to express human emotions and to be classical and contemporary at the same time.
