Concept

As an artist pursuing the possibilities of art and plants, he has been engaged in artistic expression activities such as abstract painting, botanical painting, flower live performance, three-dimensional modeling, photographic expression, and the SUGIZOU (Sugisan) series using cedar leaves, inspired by the ever-changing natural energy of plants, under the theme "Life and death are one and the same". He is active in various places in Japan. His activities are based on the expression of plant life, and include collaborations with artists of various genres and media. He has been creating and presenting mainly two-dimensional works since his solo exhibition in 2019 in order to capture the sense of energy inside plants that goes beyond metaphysical forms that can be recognized. He is currently posting his works on Instagram under the name [flos&radix].
