I like nature and landscapes and often draw them. Birds, animals, flowers, people, and things. I consider all of them living together as one part of the landscape. I paint freely on canvas, wooden board, or cardboard, using acrylic paint, water-based paint, or collage of scraps without contradicting the image at the time. In the process of depiction, I express the presence of colors and shapes on the precious things of life, hoping that the peaceful world will last forever.

I believe that being born into a family involved in the arts and being exposed to art as a natural part of my life had a great influence on me. I am grateful for the environment in which I was able to study charcoal sketching and oil painting in earnest from the 5th grade. In junior high and high school, I joined the art club and the photography club. I also worked part-time at a design company while studying oil painting at an art college. I was drawn into the fascination of oil painting, design, and photography, and in no time at all, I was working in the advertising industry, where I have worked for several decades. I love the smell of oil paint in the room and the viscosity of early inkjet colors.
