Victoria Nikolaevna Shevchenko was born on August 10, 1971 in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
When I was a teenager, I studied at the art studio. I interested in graphics and watercolor, studied art history. I have always dreamed of painting in oils. My job was not related to creativity, but to communication with people from different walks. They told me their life stories, their ups and downs. I often helped them go through difficult moments in their lives. It was a return to creativity when I painted my first oil painting in 2018 to express my own emotions, feelings and my attitude to the world.
Since 2018, I have been seriously engaged in oil painting. From 2018 to 2021, I took part in four group offline exhibitions and in various online competitions, where I won prizes.
In December 2020, my paintings took 2nd and two 3rd places in the online selection competition Golden Time Talent. I received an invitation to participate in the exhibition and awards ceremony in London. In February 2022, I took 3rd place in the Grand Final 2 Golden Time Talent in London, a competition among professional artists and winners of the Golden Time Talent 2020 and 2021.
My message is Positive Art. In my paintings I create a world in which I find harmony with God, with myself, with nature. I learn to enjoy the simple things in every day. The paintings have several layers for perception, several meanings. Behind the simplicity of the plots lie deep associations, emotional experiences, the search for a way out of various situations. It is always Positive Art. One must always hope and seek the path to light and goodness. I paint my paintings with great love and admiration for the beauty of nature. For me, creativity is the process of transforming any emotions into positive ones. The main styles are realism, seascape, impressionism, symbolism, interior painting.
The paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Israel, Germany, USA, as well as in the Art Museum of Kremenchug (Ukraine).
