MOZTROK(MOZTROK (Ruben Salazar Serrano))

Moztrok is a self-taught artist who seeks to leave a legacy through her sculptures, making them transcend telling stories and transmitting different feelings to anyone who wishes to contemplate them. Each piece is unique, carrying the message of an artist who is always moving towards inspiration, experimentation and creation. Moztrok seeks to make his pieces ethical and sustainable, using recycled materials such as metals, polymers, stone, acrylics, enamels, among others, mixing them with experimental techniques made by the artist's hand to create an abstract and figurative legacy, aimed at all those collectors who appreciate detail, originality and authenticity. "Moztrok always finds a way to realize his ideas, exploiting the limits of materials and experimenting with processes to create a unique and original universe."

Biography

MOZTROK (Ruben Salazar Serrano) Self-taught Plastic Artist He is a specialist in casting of non-ferrous metals and recovery of slag and minerals. At the age of 18 he began working in a company specializing in industrial processes where he learned everything about the process of casting and recovery of slag and recycling of non-ferrous metals, from here was born his passion for art and sculpture in bronze, aluminum and copper.

In 2006 he collaborated in the Eagle Bronze USA foundry in Lander, WY where he was in charge of production and supervision of the wax casting department.
He worked in production in the general plant, monument department, bronze and stainless steel detailing, and was in charge of the production, stainless steel detailing and water drop finishing of the first 4 series of miniature sculptures of the work "Charging Bull" (Bull in Central Park, NY) by Arturo Di Modica. He currently lives in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He gives advice to artistic foundry workshops and is focused on the creation of new works.
