I see my artworks as a voyage into the subconscious and as an act of liberation. To me, it's all about freedom. Freedom of all expediency is the greatest challenge for art - and it's a most noble provocation. Art alone can accomplish a sense of exhilaration that all humans need in order to find meaning to their existence. To me, art is also the most compelling vehicle to explore new horizons, to enhance awareness towards one’s existential paradigms and the environment we interact with.
Art is a tool for interpreting the outside world as it unfolds and our inner world equally at the same time. Schiller said that “all art is found in freedom” . The act of artistic creation frees, even if temporarily, from all constraints. So, it's like a complete soul commitment. When I start to paint, I stop thinking consciously - that is my happiness and my freedom. As I paint subconsciously, there are no direct instructions, no formal concepts, there is only the knowledge of using the right colours. So, painting for me is letting go, meditation and development. “Painting is my LIFE!”
