Concept

I love silk and nature with all my heart, I don't even know which one I love more, so I combined them together and paint wild life on pure silk to create unique & luxury artworks. As we are all coming from nature, but live in a world that long ago had been separated from it, so by painting wildlife on pure silk, I am drawing people's attention of animals and birds, flora and fauna species disappearance. I believe the smallest details are important, so I always devote a lot of time to them, trying to touch up every line carefully to transfer their beauty. The most incredible thing about my wall hangings is how alive each painted animal feels when you experience the silk painting in person. In all my painting experience, I never seen a single indifferent spectator and client!

Biography

to be updateOlga Belova was born in 5th generation of Oil painting artists, all her free time she was spending in Granmom’s & GrandUncle’s workshops experiencing different mediums and styles. On affect of Japanies paintings she started her silk journey in 2000 She specializes in wildlife paintings and realism. Her artwork has been exhibited at numerous art fairs and exhibitions in Egypt and Europe.

1983-1989 – Art School Riga, Latvia
1989-1992- Art School Petropavlovsk-Kamchatckiy
1998 – 6 month course at private Silk Art School, Tokio, Japan
2010 – 2011 – Online Course (silk painting) with Russian Artist
